Maison Tadaboum: Gender-Neutral Styles for Babies and Kids
If a picture perfect Parisian bistro were a clothing brand, it would be Maison Tadaboum. The relatively new clothing brand was established in Paris on a mission to fill the gap in gender-neutral fashion with fun, creative clothing. The easy-to-wear pieces are made with special attention to the environmental footprint and never sacrifice in quality. In a time where it seems the quality of clothing and brand transparency is never the main priority, Maison Tadaboum does what they can to reduce their waste and make the baby and kids fashion space a better place.
People and Planet
Maison Tadaboums aim is to grow the company in a sustainable way. It is part of their mission to make sure that they are remaining innovative in the sustainable fashion space and continuously finding new ways to reduce waste and increase the use of recycled items. They avoid plastic as much as possible by using recycled paper and thread in packaging as well as using compostable bags. Being a brand geared towards kids, they realize that the best impact they can make on a child’s life is not providing them with fun clothing (although that’s a plus), but making sure that they aren’t leaving the planet in a worse state for the future generations. To help combat the environmental issues that can come from production, they use exclusively organic cotton because they require much less water to make and they are not treated with harmful chemicals. Furthermore, their garments are mainly produced in Europe, specifically close to Paris, so that they use less energy for transportation and the standard for working conditions are fair. Maison Tadaboum is a leader in the slow fashion space and kodomo is proud to provide their pieces to our littles!
