The Animals Observatory Spring-Summer Collection
Let us take you through some of The Animals Observatory’s new season available on January 24th at kodomo! Per usual, they’ve created a wonderful collection of items that are meant to evoke feelings of nostalgia for the summer vibes of the early 70’s. We will carry a range of retro kids sunglasses from the Spring-Summer launch as well as other beach day essentials that The Animal Observatory always exceeds at designing. As always, we are so excited for the new arrivals to launch, we appreciate the thoughtfulness The Animals Observatory has when it comes to ethics and clothing quality.
The Animals Observatory is an innovative brand whose mission is to convey the beauty of childhood and family moments through garments. Each product has been given time, effort and guidance from creative director Laia Aguilar. Constantly thinking outside the lines, she creates out of the ordinary pieces meant for imaginative kids. Season to season there is a consistency to the brand, yet it's evident that the creativity of the brand never fades.
The Animals Observatory believes in children as individuals. In this collection the passage of time is celebrated as the brand reflects back to the creative directors childhood surfing and watching cartoons in Venice Beach with her family. Key themes you will see in this collection are light, happy colors and calm, summery prints. At kodomo, our favorite pieces include the sun graphic on the tote bag and bucket hat, as well as the umbrella and fruit print baby onesies that can also be found on other items in collection. These pattern and colors are reminiscent of the colors and vibes found on the california coast where the sun is shining, the fruit is fresh and days are relaxed. The SS23 Collection introduces new jackets and tricot pants and reintroduces classic crewneck graphic tees and crewnecks with fresh new illustrations.
