it's written in the stars

The fall winter 22/23 collection from the new society has us in a dream state. Yet again Estefania Grandio has spun her creativity into a whimsical, gorgeous, wearable story. This season her inspiration is based around a simple but timeless phenomenon. "We believe in the magic of destiny. In that life, just like your deepest dreams, is a sky full of shining stars, filled with light."

The new society's values are "conscious, timeless, sustainable and emotive. concerned with the aesthetic and the endless search for beauty." 

All the new society's collections "are created in small workshops in Portugal and Spain, manufactured with experience, passion and professionalism. we look for workshops that conform to global organic textile standard (GOTS) with sustainability certification. we use natural, recycled and sustainable materials that are developed exclusively in Portugal. we always aim for conscious solutions or alternatives at each step of the process; like the reduction of water consumption, the use of botanical dyes and elimination of plastics from our packaging. we work to create collections that can have a positive impact without hurting the planet, or wasting scarce resources."

Not inspired by business for business' sake, the new society has a higher purpose and intention. "We aim for collections that can connect people, to go beyond producing garments in the commercial sense and to bring meaning to each and every thing we do."
