Maison Tadaboum: Gender-Neutral Styles for Babies and Kids

If a picture perfect Parisian bistro were a clothing brand, it would be Maison Tadaboum. The relatively new clothing brand was established in Paris on a mission to fill the gap in gender-neutral fashion with fun, creative clothing. The easy-to-wear pieces are made with special attention to the environmental footprint and never sacrifice in quality. In a time where it seems the quality of clothing and brand transparency is never the main priority, Maison Tadaboum does what they can to reduce their waste and make the baby and kids fashion space a better place.

Maison Tadaboum does a phenomenal job of creating tops and bottoms that are interchangeable. allowing for a more versatile wardrobe for your littles. There are so many fun designs to mix and match, all of which can be worn by your boys and girls depending on their personal styles! The amandine and alicia sweatshirts have the iconic graphics that draw inspiration from the vibes, signage and interiors of Parisian bistros. These color block crewneck sweatshirts, along with a lot of the other pieces in our collection, are available in baby sizes and big kids sizes so you can dress your littles in matching outfits!

How sweet is this outfit? It's truly "la créme de la créme." The illustrations and references to Parisian cafe culture and sayings are perfect for all the little foodies out there. One of the many things Maison Tadaboum does right is creating a color story that pairs colors that aren't typically worn together like blue, fucsia or yellow and makes them work seamlessly like "a piece of cake" (which just so happens to be written in french on the celio flare legging).

The only thing better than one co-ord is two co-ords that you can mix and match! The roberta crewneck and roberto baby legging can be worn as a set or switch it up and pair them with the amanda tank top or amandito shorts that are embroidered with the same puppy drinking a cappuccino seen on the all over print.  It's officially t-shirt weather and we can finally ditch the jackets! Refresh your littles closet with some fun new tees like the carmen blue tee or the albertine yellow tee. We absolutely love the graphic tees in the Bistro Tadaboum drop, if you weren't craving a sweet treat now, you surely will after shopping the Maison Tadaboum collection at kodomo.

People and Planet

Maison Tadaboums aim is to grow the company in a sustainable way. It is part of their mission to make sure that they are remaining innovative in the sustainable fashion space and continuously finding new ways to reduce waste and increase the use of recycled items. They avoid plastic as much as possible by using recycled paper and thread in packaging as well as using compostable bags. Being a brand geared towards kids, they realize that the best impact they can make on a child’s life is not providing them with fun clothing (although that’s a plus), but making sure that they aren’t leaving the planet in a worse state for the future generations. To help combat the environmental issues that can come from production, they use exclusively organic cotton because they require much less water to make and they are not treated with harmful chemicals. Furthermore, their garments are mainly produced in Europe, specifically close to Paris, so that they use less energy for transportation and the standard for working conditions are fair. Maison Tadaboum is a leader in the slow fashion space and kodomo is proud to provide their pieces to our littles!
